When we lose someone close to us, all we have left are the memory's. Good or bad they remind us of how that person used to be. We never forget how they made us laugh or sometimes cry and even how they used to smell. We think about what made them smile and it makes us smile too. We lay flowers, light candles and write poems to help us remember them but the truth is, we can never forget them. Their memory's are forever in our hearts.
Looking back on those times can sometimes be hard but we know they are watching down on us, protecting us from harm. Think about the good times, the fun times and leave the bad memory's in the past where they belong. The eyes might be the window to the soul but photographs are the window to our memory's.
Softly the leaves of memory fall,
Gently i gather and treasure them all,
Unseen, unheard, you are always near,
So missed, so loved, so very dear.
In loving memory to all those we have loved and lost along the way, may you rest in peace.

Kids, Children, Sprogs, Monsters, They are still the twinkle in our eyes whatever we call them.
while having a bad day, my child said something that made me laugh and realize just how much they look up to us and copy our behavior. While discussing the days events with my partner, things got a little heated. 'I want to finish my coffee before i do anything!' he told me. Our child looked up from her toys and replied 'men, you cant live with 'em, you cant live without 'em. Then she got up and walked out of the room.
We both sat there for a moment before bursting into laughter. My partner looked at me and said 'wonder where she got that from?'.
When your child says certain things it makes you look at them and think, wow you sound just like me. They grow up so quickly and no matter how much of a bad day your having or how naughty they are being, they always know how to put a smile on your face.
They look up to us and want to be like us so we must set a good example and be good role models for them.
No matter how down you feel or how bad something seems, if you have children, you are truly loved and thats the best feeling in the world.
Friendship is a funny thing.
You can meet new people everyday who change your life in some way or another. But those who stay in our lives forever are the ones who really touch them.
I had a friend who i met when i was 11yrs old. She stuck by me through thick and thin and we were so close, the best friends you could ask for. After leaving school at 16, we lost touch. 4yrs later we found each other again. It felt like someone had given me my arm back. She had a baby a month younger than mine which was spooky but amazing. They grew up together and were best friends too. But unfortunately one day that was to be no more. You see, things happen in life that we cant control and now we no longer see each other. Those two little baby's that grew into toddlers and then young children will no longer be best friends. I miss her everyday and hope she feels the same.
Don't let someone special walk from your life.
